Hi

I am a wildlife and documentary photographer based in the UK and a frequent visitor to Iceland. My daughter lives in Reykjavik.

I guide photography tours for Northshots Photo Adventures www.northshots.com and we are interested in a new type of documentary or storytelling tour idea which we are currently trying out in Scotland. We would like to extend this idea to Iceland and are particularly interested in eider farming.

Do you know any eider farmers who are also involved, or would like to be, in tourism and could host a group of around 6 -8 guests during the  eider summer season. Ideally this would be at a time when both down is collected and there are also ducklings being raised but I realise this might not be possible. If the farmer is not able to provide accommodation, perhaps there is a location with a hotel or guest house nearby.

Do you think this might be possible?

Yours sincerely

Terry
